Crypto Art NFT: Artist explodes Lamborghini & creates NFT in objection against NFTs

Crypto Art NFT – Is a digital art asset that can be traded but not duplicated once minted on a Blockchain. NFTS are also called Non-Fungible Tokens & are created as NFT Games, Music NFTS & Crypto Art NFT. We are the #1 Crypto Art NFT spot to discover NFTS.

Contrary, the Shl0ms team makes a course of 999 NFTs of extinguishing posh car parts in protest of the get-rich-quick culture in the crypto market

A digital arts group that goes by the alias Shl0ms blew up a Lamborghini worth approximately $250,000 in early February, creating a series of 999 NFTs from the wrecked parts of the luxury car. Interestingly, the artists did this in protest of the get-rich-quick culture prevalent in the cryptocurrency and non-fungible token market.

Is it feasible to “duplicate” a Crypto Art NFT with a click of a mouse button? It’s not that easy

What is NFT [non-fungible tokens]?

Crypto Art NFT - In September 2021, Shl0ms made a post on Twitter launching the idea of blowing up a Lamborghini, For them, the act would be “physically fractionalizing it”, alluding to the fractionation of NFTs, where work can have, for example, ten thousand copies.

NFT News - At the time, they were asked how the luxury car would be fractionated. Ritholtz Wealth Management's chief operating officer Nick Maggiulli asked whether the Lamborghini would be "chaotically destroyed or methodically dismantled," for example. Quickly, the anonymous group raised a poll on the social network with two options: “chaos” and “order”. I believe the winning option is obvious.

Crypto Art NFT

Since Shl0ms was already a successful DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) in the Crypto Art NFT scene, selling around $1 million worth of its bizarre conceptual art experiments, they had the resources for the daring endeavour. Moreover, the venture captivated the attention of a strange investor, who sponsored them financially. They bought a used Lamborghini Huracan for just under $250,000. They eventually took the car to an unknown deserted area in the United States.

The luxury car was carefully loaded with explosives, with the help of a federally licensed engineer on the subject, so that it was fragmented. In other words, it was necessary to have a series of pieces leftover to later become the NFTS. Overall; the procedure consisted of a group of 100 people.

On February 2nd, the Lamborghini was finally blown up. Well, the result of the Crypto Art NFT artistic experiment you can check below:

Each piece was turned into a rotating 4K video that was then recorded as a Crypto Art NFT, resulting in a collection of 999 non-fungible tokens. The project will be officially released on the 25th of February, only then will the full video of the explosion be made available. Moreover, only 888 NFTs will be publicly auctioned, while 111 of the Crypto Art NFTs will be stored by the group and the initial investor.

NFTs are critical to the NFTs market itself

Yes, it seems (and is) somewhat contradictory. The group aims to criticize the get-rich-quick culture that prevails in the NFTs market, while they produce and profit from their digital assets. In an interview with The Block, Shl0ms stated that they are aware of this and that they intend to use all the money they earn to build a bigger DAO in tune with their profitable trust and ethical essence.

Crypto Art NFT - The choice of Lamborghini was hand-picked. They highlighted that the luxury car is a symbol of purchasing power. “Also, I wish to make it plain that I dislike 'Lambos' [Lamborghinis] and that's why I wish to trash one,” Shl0ms said on Twitter. “The DAO will only let individuals who dislike Lambos take part, that will be our choice,” the artist team added.

“This mechanism is remarkable reassuring, there are lots of great things we could do with it, but there are so many terrible things being done with it… These are truly extractive, zero-sum practices.”

Finally, the team underlined that “Lambo” is a detailed portrayal of individuals who simply enter the crypto environment, buying and selling cryptocurrencies and digital Crypto Art NFT, because this is considered today as a way to profit very quickly.

The ideals of Shl0ms go back to the beginning of bitcoin (BTC) more than ten years ago: creating a decentralized economic universe, using blockchain technology for the sake of freedom. They also have a foot in anarchism.
